Con Brio HF: 2013 AHS National Champion, 2 & 3 Year Old Colt/Gelding Division!

Con Brio HF (Conteur – Weltmeyer’s Song) was named the highest scoring horse from all two-year-old and three-year-old Hanoverian colts and geldings in the USA in 2013 by the American Hanoverian Society (AHS). This was based on show results from across the country, including Dressage at Devon in Pennsylvania and prestigious shows in California, Florida, Maryland and New York. Splendid in Black wins 2013 “Horse of the Year” title with USDF!

Splendid In Black (San Amour – De Nira S by De Niro) was named the top dressage filly of any breed in the USA in 2013 by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). This “USDF Horse of the Year” honor was based on show results from across the country, including Dressage at Devon in Pennsylvania and prestigious shows in California, Florida, Maryland and New York. Splendid in Black wins 2013 “Horse of the Year” title with USDF!

We are proud to announce that Splendid In Black, our three year old San Amour – De Niro filly, is National Champion & “Horse of the Year” in the Three Year Old Materiale Filly division with the United States Dressage Federation (USDF)!! She is the highest scoring three year old dressage filly of any breed in the USA this year. With a median score of 77% in her classes, she was also named 2013 National Champion 3 Year Old Materiale

Splendid In Black is AHS Champion Non-Hanoverian Mare and Reserve Champion of the 2013 AHS Mare Performance Test for the Northwestern USA!

Splendid In Black made us proud at the AHS Mare Performance Test at Horsepower Farm in Vancouver, WA on July 26, 2013. Although her dam is a Hanoverian daughter of DeNiro-World Cup I and she was eligible to be registered/branded Hanoverian in Germany, her breeder elected to register/brand her Westfalen there. Therefore, completed her inspection and testing here in the USA as a “Non-Hanoverian” mare. She was the highest scoring “Non-Hanoverian Mare” of the day and also scored a 7.33

Fancy Sold to USA!

Congratulations for Shiloh Gilbert, Utah & Kat Phillips, Idaho on their purchase of Fancy. Fancy has been purchased to be Shiloh’s next dressage star and we wish them the best of luck in the future! Shiloh trains with Olympian Debbie McDonald in Hailey, Idaho. Fancy will be imported soon and may be competing in the USA under the name “Florencianna”. Fancy Gets Fantastic Scores At Mare Performance Test (SLP) in Germany! 8.33 on Gaits!

Fancy completed her German mare performance test on May 22, 2013 in Schoppestedt, Germany. Twenty seven mares were tested and she had the second highest gait scores of all the mares! She received scores of 8.5 for trot, 8.0 for canter and 8.5 for walk, resulting in an average gait score of 8.33. Extremely proud of this young mare, who also received an invitation to compete in the 2013 National Championship Hanoverian Mare show (Herwart von der Decken.) Only 40

Fancy is Champion Mare at Konigslutter Hanoverian Mare Show, Germany!

Fancy (Floriscount – SPS Wolga by Weltmeyer) won her three year old mare class and was named the Champion Mare at the 2013 Konigslutter Mare Show. She received a “1A Prize” and so now has the title of States Premium Candidate (SPA)! So proud of this elegant, big moving young mare! Extremely proud of this young mare, who also received an invitation to compete in the 2013 National Championship Hanoverian Mare show in August (the Herwart von der Decken Show.)

SPA Scarlett (Sandro Hit-Fabriano), winner of her class at the 2012 German National Champion Mare Show (Herwart von der Decken) is in foal to Vivaldi!

Vivaldi is the sire of many top young stallions in Germany, including Celle’s LIvaldon, Dream Boy and Van Vivaldi. Top US horses sired by Vivaldi include Caroline Jorst’s Vitalis (2013 #1 ranked five year old dressage horse in the USA with USEF/USDF and highest placed US horse at the 2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses) and Caroline Roffman’s young star Emeici (formerly Etoine), 2012 KWPN Stallion Licensing Champion, who has qualified for the USEF/Markel US Young Dressage Horse championships

SPA Scarlett (Sandro Hit-Fabriano), 2012 Herwart v.d. Decken National Hanoverian Mare Show Class Winner To Be Bred To Vivaldi in 2013!

Hardenberg Farms is proud to announce that SPA Scarlett will be bred to Vivaldi (Krack C-Jazz.) In 2012, Vivaldi sired two top young stallions in Germany: Livaldon, 2012 Reserve Champion, Hanoverian Stallion Licensing (sold to Celle for $325,000) and Van Vivaldi, 2012 Reserve Champion, Westfalen Stallion Licensing. He also sired Etoine, the 2012 KWPN Stallion Licensing Champion in Holland. Vivaldi’s frozen semen has not been used successfully in the USA to date, so we are taking the opportunity to bred
