Named Champion Foal at the 2007 American Hanoverian Society (AHS) Foal Inspection in Washington....San Dante is now a 16:2hh black bay stallion: a tall, elegant colt with correct conformation and three exceptional gaits. He is a half-brother to Sir Donnerhall and San Remo, winners of the silver and bronze medals in the five year old dressage division at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany in 2006.
 

San Dante is sired by Sandro Hit, Sandro Hit is a hugely popular, unique performance stallion whose progeny are breaking all price records, winning championships and becoming approval champions. Sandro Hit is a strikingly beautiful horse, a brilliant type with fabulous movement. His success in breeding is no coincidence. His sire Sandro Song was Oldenburg Champion Young Stallion and Main Premium Stallion. His dam's sire Ramino was Stallion Performance Test Champion and later on five times Italian Champion. Welt As from his third generation is one of the most influential stallions in recent years and the sire of Olympic gold medalist, Bonfire. Sandro Hit's dam, elite mare Loretta produced Reserve World Champion and Reserve National Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit, as well the elegant premium stallion Royal Hit.

Sandro Hit was Young Horse National Champion and Young Dressage Horse World Champion in 1999. He won the "Best Young Stallion 2000" title. Sandro Hit not only has the highest index of 153 in the whole of Germany for his descendant's performance, but the highest security rate of 88%. He has sired the top priced horses and top priced foals at virtually all auctions around Europe. Ahead of them all is his daughter Poetin, twice Young Horse National Champion and Young Horse World Champion, who sold for a record $2.5 million. For years he has been producing national champions, silver and bronze medalists and many finalists in running succession.

San Dante is an outstanding dressage and stallion prospect owned in partnership between Hardenberg Farms & Tenley Haaby. He is currently being raised as a stallion prospect for AHS stallion approval & is in training to compete in the USEF Young Horse Dressage Championships.
