Dhana is a full sister to Doncaster, 1999 Belgium National Champion Four Year Old Dressage Horse and 8th in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five year old in 2000. Dhana was shown successfully to fourth level dressage in Germany and also competed successfully in 3'9" jumper classes as well. Much of this time in the showring was with a junior rider, a true testament to Dhana's rideability and sensible temperament. She is a tall, correct mare with outstanding movement.
 

Dhana was born at the farm of Christian Heinrich, a reknown breeder of Hanoverian horses, in Staffhorst, Germany. Her dam is the states premium mare, SPS Walhalla, a daughter of Watzmann. Watzmann is the sire of Walzerkönig, an Olympic Gold Medalist in showjumping for the German team in Seoul, Korea and winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen with Franke Sloothaak of Germany. Watzmann is also the sire of Foxhunter, a leading jumper sire for years at Spruce Meadows in Canada. (photo of Walzerkönig). SPS Walhalla's dam is a daughter of Perser xx, a full brother to Pik As xx. Perser xx and Pik As xx both stood at stud at Landgestut Celle for many years and sired many approved stallions. Pik As xx sons included Pik König, the sire of Pik Bube, bred by Günter Pape.

Dhana is a daughter of the legendary, Donnerhall. Donnerhall is generally considered the most successful dressage horse in the world and managed like no other sire of his generation to combine success in breeding and in sport alike. In 1986, Donnerhall was the German DLG Champion in Hannover. After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and freestyle classes at International level Donnerhall became German champion in Mannheim with his rider, Karin Rehbein. He was also part of the German team that won the world champion in 1994 and was the individual bronze medal winner in The Hague that same year. This was followed by another climax in 1997: Team gold and individual bronze at the European Dressage Championships. In 1998 he was once more included in the German world championship team and with Karin Rehbein was a member of the gold medal team in Rome, where he attained fourth place in the individual results. Donnerhall also won the World Cup European League. He is the sire of over 50 approved stallions, including De Niro, Don Primero, Don Gregory, Davignon, Donnerschlag, Duntroon, Dream of Glory, Don Schufro, Don Frederico, Don Bosco, and Del Piero. Donnerhall daughters are the dams of such stallions as Sir Donnerhall, San Remo, Furst Heinrich, Sunny Boy, Show and Show Star.
