Weltmeyer’s Song (Weltmeyer – Argentan – Pik Bube) is dam of four AHS National Champions and a two time USDF Horse of the Year winner to date. She is 16 years old now and is in foal to twice World Champion young dressage horse, Sezuan for 2016! After winning the World Championship title in 2014, Sezuan (by Blu Hors Zack x Don Schufro) now also won the World Championships title in the division of six-year-old dressage horses in Verden on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
“I have almost no words to describe it,” said his rider Dorothee Schneider, “but I am very happy and delighted.” The judges awarded the score of 10 twice to Sezuan. Sezuan earned highest scores for his canter and overall impression – the trot was honored with 9.7 and his submissiveness with 9.8, the walk with 9.1. Sezuan resides at Gestüt Peterhof of Prof. Edwin Kohl and Arlette Jasper-Kohl in Perl-Borg in southwest Germany. Linette Jaeger is his breeder. Dorothee Schneider emphasizes that the plans are now to carefully and smoothly further advance the stallion. “And then maybe the Nuremberg Cup, we will see. There is no doubt, he is certainly a horse for the big tour.” The foal will be retained to add to our mare band if it is a filly, but will for sale. Inquires invited. In-utero colt option. $14,000 (Sezuan’s frozen semen is $3,000/dose with no live foal guarantee.)
